Wellllll...I am using a Pi-Nas running OMV.. connects perfectly and instantly in Windows 10... but when I am trying to connect my Linux Mint LMDE 6 Faye machine, it is saying unable to CHDIR to my Nas directory. I >KNOW< my directory, I have tried caps and lower case, no avail. :( Any suggestions?

If anyone is wondering how to do this with other application like google chrome or VScode you have to go to usr/share/applications and find a file named APPLICATION-NAME.desktop. then intead of firefox in the fields Name, exec, icon put the name of the file and remember to remove the .desktop at the end. If your having trouble remember to go to properties then click permission and check the check box that says "allow executing file as program". If your still having trouble try right clicking the program and clicking "Allow Launching" . Hope this helps if your having problems

Works for me with my old Zyxel NAS. The only mismatch is, that the parameter in fstab shoud be "vers=1.0" instead "ver=1.0"

Hey guys, I tried what was in the video but it didn't solve my problem. After researching a bit more deeply, I noticed that my TIMEOUT, which is an option located right next to the one in the video, was set to 0. All I had to do was change the time to 10 ( can be any time in seconds). Maybe this is your problem too.
